Gujarati Samaj of NSW Inc. wishes to invite EOI from caterers, to be offered opportunities for catering during Navaratri 2006.

This year star attraction of the event is Nilesh Parmar, an eminent singer from Baroda. We expect attendance between 1500 to 3000 on all four days.
 

This year entry to Navaratri celebration 2006 is limited to Gujarati Samaj members & their guests. 

Ticket availability:

Pre paid tickets shall be only for the members.  Pre paid ticket shall available only up to 17th Sept 2006 from locations given below. Please note pre sales tickets shall be available only by redemption of a coupon. The coupon is last page of the Gurjar along with your membership number and address sticker. Please take this last page of Gurjar as a proof of identity cum redemption coupon while buying your tickets. Family and individual Season Pass shall not be available at the gates. If any member has missed out, shall have to buy door tickets.

The catering opportunity shall be on non exclusive basis. The Samaj reserves the right to appoint more than one caterer.

Car Park:
This year Navaratri celebration will be at Netball association Hall; Lidcombe.  Please note this year, car or any vehicle shall not be allowed in the Netball Association compound.  There shall be marquee within open space just outside main Hall, which shall be used for Garba / Raas.

A small area of the car park shall be reserved for guests, caterers and participants.  It is recommended to use alternative space around nearby sport venue for parking.

Lidcombe railway station is just at a few minutes walk from Netball Association Hall.

Dandyaa:

Dandiyaa during Navaratri 2006

This year Dandiyaa shall be available only through sale.

Dandiyaa shall be sold @ $2.00 per pair.
Dandiyaa shall be yours to keep after the event.

Dandiyaa shall be available for sale on four days. Dandiyaa shall not be distributed free of charge as it used to be in earlier years.

The above arrangement has been made due to heavy rush experienced during distribution of Dandiyaa in earlier years.

Proposals are invited from interested parties who would like to sponsor the events and/ or place their advertisements during Navaratri & Diwali celebrations.
